Mariam Baus Abubakar works as Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Rural Development Planning of the Institute of Rural Development Planning. She is a Professional Economist with 7 years of experience as a researcher, trainer and consultant in the field of Economics, not limited to Qualitative and Quantitative Data analysis, Planning and Gender expertise.

  • Extensive skills in teaching economics related subjects such as macroeconomics, microeconomics, international economics, econometrics, health economics, development economics, managerial economics, environmental economics, transport economics, agricultural economics, public sector economics, business economics.
  • Wide experience in data collection, processing, extraction and analysis for various purposes such as demand for air travel, utilization and awareness of export support programmes.
