ABOUT UNIT

Welcome to the Institute of Rural Development Planning Library Unit. The Library Unit is constituted with four library centers namely, Miyuji Main Campus, Furaha Training Center and Miyuji North Training Center in Dodoma City, while another library is Lake Zone Training Center in Mwanza. The libraries centres have conducive learning environment, where print and electronic information resources are available.

GOAL

The main goal of the IRDP Library Unit is to provide information materials through the use of modern technology which support the core functions of the institute on teaching, research, consultancy and innovation. It is a resourceful center of excellence in providing quality information services to its clientele using skilled, knowledgeable, motivated and creative staff.

SERVICES

Borrowing

The registered library users in the Library Management system are eligible in borrowing library materials. The loan period for IRDP academic staff is twenty-one days, graduate students is fourteen days and undergraduate and non-degree students is seven days.
