Work Experience

Mr. Maguja Yohana Nestory is an experienced Project specialist, researcher and trainer with over 9 years of professional experience in different governmental organizations. Currently, he is working as an Assistant lecturer in the Department of Rural Development and Regional Planning at the Institute of Rural Development Planning-Dodoma. He also worked with Mbeya District Council for five years as a Community Development Officer. He also worked with Bukombe District Council as a Community Development Officer for a year. The skills acquired over the years have given him extensive experience working with various stakeholders.

Professional Skills

• Designing online mobile data collection platforms using the most current technologies, i.e.  Kobo Tool Box, Survey Solutions and OpenDataKit (ODK).
• Experienced in the use and applications of statistical packages such as SPSS and Stata for data analysis
   

Research and academic Interests

My main research and academic interests are risk management, Monitoring and Evaluation, rural entrepreneurship and small business management, and women and youth development programs.
