Work Experience

Mugeta Mafuru Kurwijira works as a Tutorial Assistant (TA) in the Department of Rural Development and Regional Planning of the Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP). He is a Planner with eight (8) years of experience undertaking Development Planning activities in LGAs and has been a Tutorial assistant at IRDP since May 2023.

• Teaching on modules related to Development Planning 
• Preparation of Plan and Budget.
• Facilitating village community-based plans by using bottom-up approach such as participatory Rapidly Appraisal (PRA), Opportunities and Obstacles for Development (O & OD). 
• Projects/programme management, design and coordination,
• Field Research and Report writing,
• Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Policy issues
• Skilled in Planning and Reporting tool especially on the use of Web-based PlanRep
• Skills on Advanced Microsoft word and Excel.
